Finding something you love, and having a real passion for it, can be very difficult. At first we all want to be super heros and save the world. Then our attenchen switches into movie stars and detectives. But there comes a time where all the confusion fades away and your left with perhaps something you never thought you’d love to do, or even imagined yourself doing. My confusion left me on a creative note. Maybe not quite to become a famous author, or painter. For me it is something bigger than that, and it envolves food. Becoming a chef isn’t something that I’ve always dreamed about, but as of right now it’s all I can think about. Anyone can make food and distribute it, but only a few see the art from within. If you’d ask me what I wanted to become five years ago my answer would’ve consisted of a snuff followed by a smart complex answer. But now, I would yell out “chef” even before you finished the question. How can a chef make a difference, or better yet change the world? In a position where you have the knowledge and the resource of food, you can feed people that are less fortunate. Finding ways to make healthy taste better, and simply changing/affecting someone’s mood by feeding them something. Reaching forward and affecting someone’s life isn’t easy but as chef Auguste Gusteau said “Anyone can cook, but only the fearless can be great.”
