Ever since the age of twelve I have wanted to be a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse. I plan on attending Bethel University to obtain my nursing degree and then working at a local hospital in their NICU.
Babies are our future, and because of this fact, NICU nurses have one of the most important jobs on the planet. They save the lives of tiny newborns every day. These babies could grow up to be the next Albert Einstein, or a doctor who will cure cancer or AIDS. Their impact is greater than we know.
I want to change the world by exercising my passion for babies and children. I have loved them for as long as I can remember and I cannot think of a better way for me personally to impact our world. With each baby I help, I am introducing the world to a brand new, unique person who will impact the world in his or her own way.
