Actress Meryl Streep once said that “acting is not about being someone different. It’s finding the similarity in what is apparently different, then finding yourself in there.” If I could chose a career that I loved and could change the world while doing it, it would be acting. Standing on a stage, in front of an audience, pouring out my soul into a character, creates a certain beauty that no other moment can craft. I would change the world because I would inform people that following ones dreams is how to build yourself a foundation to living a fulfilling life. Many people only chose careers for the financial stability but are unhappy because their occupation is not what they truly wanted to do. I want to let people know that it is okay to jump when there may not be a bottom. The meaning of life is to trust yourself enough to have the faith that you are going to fly even if it is uncertainty and fog ahead. My goals in achieving this dream are to graduate from college and hone by craft by learning all there is to know about Theater and acting, to continue writing and letting my own light shine while letting others shine as well, and lastly to never give up. I can change the world not by just doing what I love, but changing others to believe that they can do the same.
