For years I have dreamed of being a teacher. The idea of giving over information to impressionable children knowing that what they gain from their years of schooling will stand by them and serve them for a lifetime is exhilarating to me. After so many years of being a student and absorbing so much from my educators, the time has come for me to give back. So many teachers have stood in front of my class and taught us with dedication, kindness, and joy. I admire the way they would keep clarifying until the student understood and the way they gave us the skills to continue learning after we graduated. I admire them and dream to one day be one of them and join the ranks of those responsible for building the future.
I plan to study abroad to maximize my skills. I am enrolled in a program that will equip me with the tools to provide diversified instruction to my students and ensure that each one succeeds in receiving the presentation of material that he or she can most gain from. My dream to create life-long learners and achievers is on its way to becoming a reality. The work ethic I have built up in attaining a 3.86 GPA will assist me as I work to fulfill this dream. The success of mankind will depend on the education that the children of today receive, and with your help I will soon have the power to make that difference.
