If I could have done what I loved I would be a psychiatrist. To achieve this goal I would have attended a four year program right after high school rather than taking a break. I would have than went into a medical degree program so that I could go from psychologist to psychiatrist to be able to prescribe medication. I believe for me this is a very rewarding career for the fact that my only passion in life is to help people. To have someone come to me with their problems and walk away a little relieved each day fulfills my need to make people happy. I do not believe you can change the world but at least if you can better the life of one person you are doing your job to helping a better world. Even though this is not the route or path I am on the career field I am in now is equally a rewarding when it comes to helping people and changing their lives. I am now pursuing my education as a Respiratory Therapist. Saving someone’s life is as equally rewarding to me as counseling them through their problems maybe even more since it is a life or death matter. Ultimately my passion has always been in the field of medicine to aid people and make a better future for someone else.
