Everyone is different. Some have parents that push them to pursue their dreams, while others have parents that just crush them. I’ve been blessed enough to not have had my childhood dream of being a songwriter crushed. I taught myself at a young age the basics of piano, guitar and vocals. My hunger is what showed me that there is such a thing called destiny. And I truly believe it was activated when I first laid my eyes on a piano. I’m grateful that I discovered God’s talent for my life early on. I couldn’t imagine living without my passion. It’s exciting! It’s life changing, it moves you, it tells stories. Music helps people. I would love to be able to do that for a living… My theory in life is to do everything with excellence. To have education will help the process of flowing that is needed with music. It’d suck to have ideas and not know how to execute them(I would know). So I’d rush to get the proper education to make my music as excellent as possible. I believe it’s important to learn music business, especially in my situation (where I’m not so focused on joining a record label). I’d make songs to lift up the depressed youth, people without dreams, people who are so down that they can’t look up, the people who are blind to the beauty of life. That’s my dream career. To open peoples eyes to the beauty of life through music.
