If I could earn a living doing what I love the most, I would help others through being a writer of songs and greeting cards. Music is what makes life; it resurfaces memories, gives a feeling of understanding through words; that speak to the situation or emotion a person is feeling in that moment. What an amazing way to speak a message; helping others without having to actually sit them down one on one; giving advice or trying to reach out in a way that may make them feel uncomfortable. Greeting cards, the one avenue people have to convey a message they themselves may be unable to say. This makes me feel like I am involved in someone’s most important moments in life; without actually having to be there.
I don’t look for gratitude and helping others to reap the benefit of making money; but imagine if I could actually accomplish that while doing what I love? Obtain a feeling of self-satisfaction, pride and caring for others while making a living! A full concentration of those things and produce a world where hope can be restored, confidence can be regained, love can be expressed; creating a world of caring and likeminded people wanting to help others. Oh, what a world this could be!
The goals I would set to make this dream a reality is: create a portfolio, business executions obtaining knowledge of the markets, invest money and create my own card company, get my songs produced/launched and make a difference!
