I have an immense passion for our Earth. I am determined to be apart of the revolution that takes back our planet to value and conserve the remaining resources this wonderful planet has to offer. I have already begun my journey into Sustainability and I am working on a campaign against hydraulic fracturing in California this summer. I am also apart of a group on campus called Alliance to Save Energy and we produce actual energy savings on campus while also educating students at SDSU about energy efficiency. I’ve come up with a plan to ensure my part in the environmental conservation movement and it begins with graduating from SDSU as a double major in Sustainability and Psychology. I then plan to go to the Peace Corps to work on environmental education in developing countries. After returning from the Peace Corps, I want to work directly with public policy again and make changes to the legislation that is holding the U.S. back from becoming a more sustainable country. Achieving these few goals I have means really making a difference in the quality of life for our future generation. I am willing to dedicate my life to the betterment of society to ensure our future generation remains healthy and prosperous.
