If I could earn a living doing what I love the most, it would be working in the medical field. As a child, I was inspired by my pediatrician to do what he did for me. He made going to the doctor less tedious and more fun. He provided compassionate care. That is exactly what I intend to do. I have just recently obtained my Certified Nursing Assistant license, and I plan to work as a CNA this summer and throughout my college years. Working with the elderly during my clinicals taught me how to appreciate life and treat them with the respect that they deserve.
With the experience that I have now, I plan to further my education and major in pre-med. After college, I will move on to medical school and hopefully become a pediatrician someday. I will work as a compassionate healthcare provider just like my pediatrician did. I can make a difference in children’s lives, as well as their parents. I want to make doctor trips fun and exciting for them, just as it will be for me. Pediatrics is an important field because it determines our future. I want to be the determining factor.
