An ideal occupation would be to motivate other people to learn the skills necessary to strengthen their unique ability. I would take note of historical figures such as Helen Keller, Anne Frank, and Princess Diana who would represent the contributions that people like me can make to improve mankind by way of their deeds.
The first person I would consider in setting a path for change is Helen Keller. Keller singlehandedly demonstrates the abilities endowed which can be honed into a livelihood. It is through Keller that I would instill the accomplishment of the written and spoken word as a way to earn a respectable living as well as make the world a more hospitable place. Another person that sets a prime example is Anne Frank. Undoubtedly, Frank reminds everybody that the challenges and obstacles of life are inevitable but not insurmountable. In her struggle, Frank showed the world that pen and paper can transcend evil and that evil does not beget more evil, but rather, immortalizes human kindness and perseverance.
In the end, I would not preclude the impact that speakers have on bringing attention to global crises. No other key figure can attest to the power of speech than Princess Diana. Princess Diana gave the sick and the poor a powerful voice among the elite. So, in closing, I would work to endure and inspire others by learning to read or write, using life a canvass to create rather than to destroy, and speaking on behalf of those who cannot.
