A dream is a mere fantasy that, to most, is an occurrence that manages to seamlessly imbue the mind without disturbing ones slumber. For those who see in color rather than through a grayscale, it’s obvious that the most momentous of a person’s dreams do in fact happen while they are awake. Personally I believe that the product of such a dream as well as perseverance and originality is a goal; a purpose that is worth fighting for. If I were given the opportunity to live successfully doing what I love, I would sing.
Furthermore, I would sing for the world; for the happiest triumphs, the dreariest heartaches and each moment in between. As a performer I would give something to people that they could not possibly receive anywhere else. I would want to be the song that is turned on after a long day; a reassurance, or mental repose. I would wish for individuals to attend my shows for their own exclusive reasons but for all of them to gain a sense of euphoria; a prevalent feeling of fulfillment.
My primary goal is to bring forth a new sense of communication in music as well as originality. I feel that music is a way of creating unity amongst the world, and my dream is to contribute to that cause. Ghandi once quoted, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” I plan on giving these words my own definition by turning my dream into a magnificent reality.
