About Me
I have been playing guitar for 25 years. I took formal guitar lessons for seven years, won numerous awards locally and nationally, and have been a professional musician for most of my life. I have studied music theory elaborately, and was accepted to both the Berklee School of Music in Boston, and the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. I decided to start on a musical career immediately, and did so in my hometown of Detroit. I play/teach, have written, performed, and recorded everything from indie rock, Jazz, classical guitar, Flamenco/modern latin guitar, and other traditional world music. I currently front my own indie rock project "The Static Dial", as guitarist/vocalist/songwriter.
I teach all ages; from very young children (ages 6-8) to adults. Music samples are available here on my profile.
I'm glad to be on board with the team here at TakeLessons.com and I look forward to meeting my new students!
Student Feedback
Linda R, Beginner guitar lessons
I was pleased with Bill's guitar lessons. My daughter is a beginner guitar player and she learned something new at each lesson to practice. She enjoyed the lessons and wants to take more. Bill was polite and prompt.

Becky K, Awesome
I like that Bill was calm with me. He taugh me how to not get frustrate with practicing. To be relax and let it come to me. The best thing from every lesson, was that he gave me notes to learn from. He is a great guitar player and teacher.
