Samantha started taking piano lessons at age 3 from her mother, who was also a music teacher. She played piano continuously through school, and also learned to play clarinet, guitar, flute, trumpet and sax, often playing different instruments in her school's band. She also learned the violin and cello all before graduating high school and starting college. While still in HIgh School, she started teaching young beginners in her mothers studio.
She attended Pensacola Christian College in Florida, majoring in Piano Performance, under the watchful eye of Mr. Daniel Nagy from Brazil. She transferred to Clearwater Christian College, Tampa, FL, her Junior year to study with Dr. Craig Ralston, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Music.
After graduation she took a position at Seffner Christian Academy, near Tampa. There she taught Beginning and Intermediate Band and assisted the Advanced Band class.
From there, she returned home to Delaware to teach at Milford Music Center's music school, owned by her mother. This was also the same school where she learned to play most of her instruments and where she taught throughout High School.
Now in Allentown, Pennsylvania, she is passing on her love of music to her students.

Samantha believes in teaching the fundamentals of music first, which will make the following lessons easy and fun for the student. She has used a variety of methods on different students and will use whichever method will be best understood by each individual student. She enjoys getting to know the strengths and weaknesses of each student and building on the foundation teacher and student have built together. As a team, teacher and student will put together short and long- term goals and work towards each goal with every lesson. As a young child, Jacquie began to show interest in both piano and voice. Coming from a musical family tree, her father began teaching her beginner piano as well as vocal harmony through original children compositions. She began her formal piano training at age 8 and continued to study for the next 5 years. At this time she also began writing music and recording her compositions in the family recording studio.
Around the age of 12, Jacquie began her training in classical voice. She is well versed in all styles from Opera to Pop and has the unique ability to train others to accomplish their musical goals. As a Coloratura Soprano she has starred in many productions and won prestigious vocal competitions throughout the USA and Europe. Jacquie is an accomplished Contemporary Songwriter and Recording Artist which has caught the eye of quite a few National Recording Companies. In the Summer of 2000 she toured throughout Tuscany, Italy as a featured soloist with SSMA with an Orchestral Ensemble. While in college she minored in Piano Performance and majored in Vocal Performance.
Jacquie began teaching at the age of 16 from her family's music store in beginner piano and voice where she learned the art of being an private instructor. Since then she has taught at other prestigious Music Schools and has trained students of all ages to the advanced level. She prides herself on the ability to be able to customize each lesson to accommodate both the student's wants and needs. She has trained many students who have gained successful entrance into LVPA Charter High School, Community Theaters and highly acclaimed competitions such as "American Idol." In 2005 she acquired a membership with NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing).
Come have FUN with Jacquie, she would love to have the opportunity to guide you or your children through a musical journey!
As a private instructor Jacquie believes that lessons can be both FUN and rewarding. She holds her students accountable for practicing and preparing for the next week's lesson by setting goals and providing techniques in order to be successful. Throughout the lesson she will give praise for the students accomplishments as well as give constructive feedback for improvement. She prefers to teach from the Alfred's Piano Library for Piano, recommends Theory, Harmony & Solfege, as well as materials for the students choice of Musical and Vocal style. It is also recommended to bring a notebook, binder and personal MP3 device in order to prepare for the next week's lesson. Within the first 3-6 months a student will have learned the beginning techniques for either piano or voice and have quite a few songs added to their repertoire.
Jacquie's studio has a comfortable seating area for parents to observe the lesson if desired. She also has a full size digital studio piano, recording studio, stereo, and other musical necessities to accommodate each and every lesson professionally.
