I have been playing guitar since I was a teenager. I started out playing trumpet in jr. high school and began playing bass and guitar professionally in high school. I have studied guitar in San Miguel Allende Mexico at the Escuela de Bella Artes. I have lived in Nashville and learned much about the music business while there. I am a BMI affliated song writer. I have been teaching guitar for the last five years. Most of my current compostiional focus is on solo acoustic "art" pieces in the mold of Michael Hedges or Leo Kottke. I recently completed a music production course taught by grammy award winning and Berkley educated Birmingham jazz great Eric Essix. I have a my home studio set up studio where I work on recording my song ideas and some electronica.

Hello, my name is Thomas. I have been a music student since 1990. I can read music, play in a variety of styles, and am able to communicate and express musical ideas with ease. I have 13 + years of teaching experience and 20 + years of learning/performing experience. I specialize in drum set, snare drum (marching and orchestral) , hand percussion, mallets, and beginner piano. As I am a teacher I am still perpetually a student, I travel several times a year to take lessons with such well known drummers as Zoro, Chester Thompson, Jonny Rabb, Gary Asher, Keith Carlock, Stanton Moore and many more. I am a member of P.A.S. (Percussive Art Society) I am able to relay my experience as a student, a professional gigging drummer, and as a Studio musician.
