About Me
EDUCATION
My musical education began while sitting on my mother's lap as she taught piano lessons. At age nine, I began studying cello with a member of the Kansas City Philharmonic. At age ten, I followed in my mother's footsteps and played the flute. I played all three instruments, (piano, cello and flute) until high school. I attended Drake University and majored in music education, studying cello under the Nationally acclaimed John Ehrlich. I returned to Drake University and received a master's degree in counseling in 1999.

Student Feedback
Melissa A, Perfect!
I was very nervous about starting to play the viola again. I needed an instructor who was going to be friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Angela is all of these things and after the first lesson I was hooked! Highly recommend her to anyone and any age group!
