I've loved music since I was able to walk. When I was 5 or 6, I would listen to my mother's stereo system, with Jim Croce playing on the 8-Track tape deck.....(ok, so I'm aging myself a little bit). I would lay on the floor in between the speakers which were turned inward toward my ears. I could lay there for hours, tapping my toes to "Bad Bad Leroy Brown", "Roller Derby Queen", "You Don't Mess Around with Jim", and many others. I would also listen to the Beatles, Seargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", and "Revolution" and be completely taken away. I didn't realize it then, but what captivated me were the songs that were written to tell stories, and the music that brought the stories to life. As I grew into my early teens, I got into Kiss, Alice Cooper, Rush, Ted Nugent, and Jimi Hendrix. (His version of "All Along the Watch Tower" was much better than Bob Dylan's original version)

Classically trained, vocally and instrumentally, he not only brings the technicality of musical excellence to operations but also embraces a sense of urgency and understanding to each of his students. He enjoys teaching his students a variety of styles including jazz, r&b, gospel, soul, rock, classical, and country.

Joshua performs regularly nationally on a number of instruments. These include Trumpet, Tuba, Baritone, French Horn, Drums (Trap Set), Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Hammond Organ, Piano and a number of percussion instruments. Baritone, Bryan holds a bachelor of music in classical voice from the Manhattan School of Music and a Master of Arts degree from New York University with a concentration in vocal jazz and studio music.

At 15 he was given his first Frank Sinatra record, which he would listen to for hours, studying the nuances and phrasing. In the fall of 1995, Bryan entered the Manhattan School of Music in NYC, where he majored in classical voice. During his freshman year, Bryan performed several times on New York’s restaurant row, including Don’t Tell Mamas and Danny’s Skylight Room, where he thrilled audiences with his own style and voice accompanied by his newly formed jazz trio.

In the summer of 1997, Bryan accepted an offer from the Glenn Miller Orchestra to begin touring. The tour took him all over the US, Canada, the Hawaiian Islands and Japan. He returned to the Manhattan School of Music to finish his undergraduate degree in 2000, but he remained in New York City to complete...
