The Banjo is a fabulous instrument normally used in country and bluegrass music. There are 4-string, 5-string, and even a 6-string banjo that is played like a guitar. Your banjo instructor should be able to teach you how to read a banjo tab, banjo chords, and banjo tunings. If you are going to purchase a banjo, good beginner brands include Gibson, Fender, and the Epiphone Masterbuilt Banjo.

I've always wanted to play the banjo and never got around to it. it's time!!!
