Music and teaching music have been my passions for as long as I can remember! Throughout my career as a student, I have explored many musical paths and instruments. All these experiences contributed to making me the well-rounded and intelligent musician I am today.

My undergraduate degree is from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in Music education where I am certified to teach any music from students K-12. Currently, I am pursuing a masters degree in Vocal Performance and Opera from the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University where I study under Phyllis Bryn-Julson.

Although singing is my #1 passion, I encourage students to play instruments and explore other musical outlets. Musical instruments I've learned and performed with include: piano, french horn, mallet percussion, classical guitar, and saxophone. Music has so much to offer - take advantage of it now!

Soprano Belinda L. is quickly emerging as a sought-after performer both in opera and as a recitalist. Her performances have been described as “mesmerizing” and her crystal clear voice is full of a “beauty and sensitivity that makes her an immediate stand out.” Most recently, Belinda has appeared on the stage of Peabody Opera as Euridice in Gluck's Orfeo. I am a composer, arranger, and producer with a continual appreciation for music and the arts. I embarked on my musical journey at a young age, receiving instruction in basic piano, moving on to study classical piano, and then learning jazz piano. I began writing solo compositions for piano as an early teen, and quickly thereafter learned how to use recording equipment. I also learned to play the saxophone as a child, playing in various elementary and high-school school bands. Often would my father, brother and I perform events held at our church as a saxophone trio, playing standard jazz pieces from the 1950s and '60s. While studying at Goucher College, I learned music theory, music history, and arranged several of my own pieces and a few original arrangements for the Jazz Ensemble. I am a University of Hawaii Piano Performance Major with a training emphasis in classical piano. I have taken multiple AMEB piano examinations, as well as performed in various recitals, culminating in an undergraduate music certification. I have been playing for 15 years, working with a variety of musical and performance styles, including individual performance, accompaniment, and musical collaboration. These experiences have given me the skills to tackle and communicate musical themes and ideas to students with a range of learning styles and needs, from beginning to advanced, classical to leisure.

I love music and I love teaching! I started out with a passion for musical theater, and eventually I developed a love for opera and art songs. I love how singing requires both physical awareness and mental focus, and I will strive to teach the balance of these aspects. I've had a great deal of experience reaching out to students of all ages. I taught undergraduates while finishing my masters degree in Chicago, and while performing outreach with the San Diego Opera and Anchorage Opera. Outside of music, I love competing in triathlons!

I presently am a certified Maryland public music teacher. I was a full time traveling musician for 20 yrs. Maine-Florida, Midwest, USO tours top forty bands , country acts local and national, single act as a lounge act. I have a BS degree in music education and was a student of John B Southard for about 15 yrs. This type of background in performance allows me to teach students the importance of using your aural ( listening) skills as well the music theory needed to perform when needed. My experience with different styles of music include Blues ( New Orleans) jazz, Rock, country, as well classical.

David is a successful singer/songwriter/guitarist out of Baltimore, MD. He has a bachelor's degree in Music with a concentration in composition from Salisbury University, where he also studied jazz and classical guitar . In the 16 years he has been performing (11 of those professionally) and playing guitar, he has released 4 CDs and written over 200 original songs. He has shared the stage with major national acts like My Chemical Romance, The Used, Thrice, Story of the Year, The Bouncing Souls, The Pietasters, Eric Hutchinson, Virginia Coalition, two-time Emmy Award winner Michael Whalen (Good Morning America, Oprah Winfrey, Inside Edition) and most recently, Graham Colton. I have studied with Wanchi Huang at James Madison University for six years. At JMU, I earned a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music, both in violin performance. I am currently working on a doctoral degree at Catholic University of America, studying with Jody Gatwood. When I was a student at JMU, I taught several students privately. The students ranged from retirees to JMU faculty and students to adolescents. I am now teaching at Baltimore Talent Education Center, where I teach violin in small groups and individual lessons. I have been teaching private lessons for close to 10 years and have been an active performer for even longer, playing in all different types of groups, from rock bands and jazz groups to orchestras and brass bands. I studied music at Frostburg State University (Bachelors) and the Peabody Conservatory (Masters). I can teach just about any age and skill level and cover anything you are interested in learning; whether its a certain style, genre, technique or song.

I am an active musician in the Baltimore and Philadelphia area working as a pianist, guitarist, producer, and composer. I graduated from the university of the arts with a degree in music performance performing in different ensembles from Latin jazz to the school's production of "Porgy and Bess." i have been teaching students of all ages for 3 years now and love working with children. Not only will students learn to read music but will get a great sense of rhythm, balanced theory, and even songwriting for those interested.

I have been playing guitar for around 28 years, I have performed in many states and continue to do so. Playing live is a very special part of playing music, I have also recorded in the studio - it's always great to put your music onto a cd or help a fellow musician out and record when they need someone else to listen. Plus you always have your recording to listen to for a long time. My background comes from learning from a nationally known professional musician who has been performing for over 30 years on world tours & recorded on 10 different albums.
