I started studying piano and singing from a very young age. I used to make my friends come over and watch me perform (karaoke style--before karaoke was big) when i was in the 4th grade. My greatest love is music, performing music, and sharing it with others. As a singer i have studied all types of music, but my favorite- and what i excell at- is opera.

I have taken private voice and piano lessons constantly since the age of 5, and have studied opera performance and music theory in college. I perform locally around the community as a singer, direct the church choir, and occassionally accompany soloists on the piano. I have taught private lessons in voice and piano for 5 years and i greatly enjoy the one on one experience of teaching private lessons.

Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pa. and educated at the prestigious Trinity College of Music, London (Pgh. center), Al served as external examiner teaching music theory and drums in private and ensemble settings at the U.S. center in Pittsburgh, Pa. from 1984-86 and further studies at Boston's Berklee College of Music, receiving a BM in Percussion Performance in 1992. I love teaching and feel that I have a gift for it. I have taught over 250 students - all ages, levels, and styles - who would describe me as a patient, consistent and authentic teacher who gets great results, while maintaining a positive, low pressure teaching environment. Michael has worked with kids for 10 years in schools and arts programs to find fun and their best self through performance. He has taught orchestra, chamber music, jazz band and music theory in the public schools, while performing in local ensembles in and around the city. My name is Jennifer and I am a Music Educator! I am an Arizona native and have been involved with music my whole life. I have played the clarinet for 14 years and recently graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. I also hold an Associate's Degree in Music from Eastern Arizona College and a teaching certification in instrumental music education. I reside in Tempe, Arizona and I am currently an elementary/junior high band director in Peoria, Arizona. I have experience with performing in a variety of ensembles including symphony orchestra, concert band, jazz band, small ensembles, and my favorite- marching band!

I currently perform with the Mesa Community College Community Band in Mesa, Arizona.
