About Me
My name is Daryl and I love music! I am a professional saxophone player and teacher. I also teach drum set, percussion, and music theory. I have a background heavily set in the jazz and improvisational realms as well as classical, blues, and rock. I recently received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from City College of New York with an emphasis in jazz and improvisation. Bridget R, Great Sax Instructor
My son has had a wonderful experience with Daryl. Not only is he a knowledgable, talented musician, but he is also a great teacher. He has a positive attitude and is very encouraging.
My son enjoys his lessons and we are very pleased with the progress he has made under Daryl's instruction.

Eric R, daryl is a great teacher
I've really appreciated the patience and especially the nitty gritty behind Daryl's teachings. He's really into the finer points of the alto sax, everything from how the reed is essentially a part of a tree to how to correctly embouchure. He's got a tremendous knack for hearing what I'm doing and not doing right. Thanks Daryl.
