My name is Daryl and I love music! I am a professional saxophone player and teacher. I also teach drum set, percussion, and music theory. I have a background heavily set in the jazz and improvisational realms as well as classical, blues, and rock. I recently received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from City College of New York with an emphasis in jazz and improvisation. I have been playing professional gigs for the last 8 years (in Denver as well as New York City) and have been teaching for the last three years, which I have come to find great passion for!
My philosophy as a teacher is that every student is different and may require a unique approach. That is why I strive to really understand what direction the student wishes to go in, as well as their current skills. Music became my life when I found a dusty guitar in the storage room at age 12. I owe a lot of really cool experiences to the guitar and so many of them center around learning. Teaching is fun and rewarding, but it is also my way of thanking the great teachers I've had.

After seeing his first rock concert at age 14, Nick knew music had to be in his future. He picked up a friend’s guitar the next day for the first time, and after only three years applied for and received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Nick has been performing in rock bands from high school and throughout college. He also has 4+ years of experience teaching students ranging from age 3 to 60+, and teaches guitar, vocals, and bass. Nick specializes in styles such as rock, blues, pop, classical, and flamenco.

I am a Graduate from the University of Denver Lamont School of Music in Violin and Viola Performance with Certifications in Suzuki Violin. With my experiences in teaching for over 10 years I have had the opportunity to work with every type of student. I am the Concert Master of the Aurora Symphony, First Violinist in the Denver Quattro Quartet, and the Ex- First Violinist in the Resident Quartet at the Colorado State Governors Mansion. Ben hails from a dairy farm in Pennsylvania. He grew up working hard, drawing and playing guitar. In his teens, he began playing shows in coffee shops playing cover songs. After high school, he moved out and travelled around Scotland, Canada and the Pacific Northwest, playing in bands, attending Columbia Academy in Vancouver, BC for audio engineering and teaching music in Portland, Oregon.
His mostly self-taught career has landed him many shows around The US and Canada and the opportunity to fly to remote areas to be recorded in many musical projects. What he has to offer you is how to be a comfortable on the guitar, how to become familiar with the guitar and, if you already are, how to take it to a performance level, how to write music that pushes you to the next level, how to record great sounding demos and how to get out in the public.

Born in Boston mass I am a DU educated pianist comfortable in any Jazz, Rock, or Classical setting but find my first love is the bluesy rollicking piano reminiscent of Jerry Lee Lewis, Dr. John, or Ray Charles. You might have seen me around town in my Salsa group, Jazz trio, Funk band, Gospel choir, or as accompaniment to any of the extremely talented singers I have worked with. I am an experienced teacher who has taught students of all different levels and ages. My students receive classical training on the piano or cello. I understand that a passion for music is the critical ingredient for musical development, and I pass my own love for music to my students. I teach my students to be diligent by having them use practice logs to record their progress. My students learn to understand the musical material and how to practice it at home. I especially focus on learning to read music in my lessons because it is a very important skill.

As I attended the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver, I took classes about how to teach music to others. I bring this knowledge and expertise into my lessons. I have made many great connections while teaching music to people and one of the ways to do that is to work together on a common goal. I started teaching music because during my own studies I have discovered many quick learning strategies that make playing music fun. Many of these strategies I had to discover on my own. Scott is a multi-instrumentalist loop master whose music spans a wide range of sounds and genres. With an education in music performance and a reputation for having a good time this laid back musician is no amateur to the music scene. Scott has performed hundreds of shows and numerous festival appearances, including 10,000 Lakes Festival, Wakarusa, Harvest Fest, Solstice Shakedown, Dogstock, Bela Luna, Camp Euforia, etc. Great stage presence and crowd interaction are a couple of things this guitarist is known for.

Trent has over 15 years of experience polishing his music talents. While working towards his Bachelor's in Music, he also played in a touring band and still managed a 3.8 GPA from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Trent's musical talents have taken him touring all around the country.

Trent started teaching music right after college and has continued for three years. Trent has high expectations and is skilled in helping his students reach their goals.
