Music is my foundation, motivation, and inspiration. From my first music-making experiences in high school playing drum set student, to my days as a Music Therapy student at the John J. Cali School of Music, I am constantly searching for opportunities to make music and learn more about music.

In my search of musical opportunities of I have the great pleasure of playing with many different people, in many different musical genres ranging from Jazz Rock to Funk, all the way to Classical, and even to music from across the globe as a Tabla, Riqq, and Mbira student.

Throughout college, and following graduation I worked as a private music instructor developing lesson plans and helping my students develop their relationship with music while reaching their musical goals.

As a Board Certified Music Therapist I have also had the great fortune of working with all different kinds of people, from 5 to 100 and from all over the developmental spectrum find ways to make music.

I'm originally from California. I have performances degrees from the Grove School, as well as San Diego State University.
I currently reside in New York City where I get the chance to play with some many great musicians. I have performed in great jazz clubs in New York, on Broadway, and performing arts centers across the country. I'm currently playing in many great performing ensembles. Hi, my name is Patrick. I've studied piano since age 10 (classical, and more recently jazz) and even at that age I would write my own songs and compositions. I started studying music theory in high school 6 years ago. This has informed my study of composition, as well as every instrumental practice undertaken since that time. 5 years ago I took my banjo to Sarah Lawrence College and started learning to play. I quickly joined the school's Bluegrass Ensemble, which fast-tracked my practice and enhanced my understanding of the idiom. My compositions, arrangements, and performances have appeared in theatre productions (Hartford Stage, Manhattan Theatre Source), several student films and dance pieces, and at music venues in New York (Carnegie Hall, Goodbye Blue Monday). For the past year I've been working with children at the Sarah Lawrence Early Childhood Center, and most recently at MoonSoup, an early childhood center in midtown Manhattan.

My name is Peter A. I've been playing guitar for over ten years. I recently graduated from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. There, I spent several semesters studying with Tomo Fujita (former teacher of John Mayer and Eric Krasno). I've also studied with legendary guitarist Pat Metheny and Jack Pezanelli. Stevie Ray Vaughan, Wes Montgomery, and Jimi Hendrix are responsible for inspiring me to play guitar and I specialize in teaching blues and jazz. I've performed with a bunch of great artists in the Boston and Philadelphia area.
I am also well versed in computer recording software and DAWs. I teach students how to use software programs such as Logic and Reason as well as notation software like Sibelius and Finale. With some basic training in these programs, I can teach a student how to effectively record and produce professional quality recordings so that a student can write, record, and produce their own music.
