Paul is an excellent piano teacher. I came to him having forgotten how to read music after not playing for 10 years. I wanted to bring piano music back into my life. Gradually, over 4 months, I recovered everything I had previously forgotten and have progressed quickly with his patient yet encouraging and inspirational teaching style. Paul has introduced me to a wide range of music, which has pushed my piano playing to improve in all directions and on new levels. It has been a wonderful experience, and I am excited to continue and see where the music takes me.

Great instructor

I went to Paul for my first singing class not really knowing what to expect. He instantly made me feel comfortable and provided me with a calming and supportive environment to explore singing. He is such an enthusiastic and supportive teacher, and I really learned a lot from him. He seems very able to cater to personal goals and needs and help students go in a direction that they are drawn towards. He also taught me some piano! Over all a great learning experience. I would recommend this teacher to anyone.

Gregory H. Astoria, NY

About Gregory

As a younger brother at the age of five, I began studying the piano because my older sister did. After my foundation in music strengthened I fell in love with the trumpet. At first, each note took time to develop and I enjoyed the challenge. The trumpet allowed me to travel all over the Southeast later in life and even to China with a 1940's Radio Show. I enjoyed many top-level bands the kindled my love and passion for good music. I want to share that kindling with my students in a nurturing and guiding situation, just like my teachers gave me.
I used to go to lessons and become so motivated and inspired that I thought I could change the world. I always knew that I would want to give back exactly that. As my performance opportunities grew into venues like Churchill ...

Marco O. Sunnyside, NY

About Marco

I started playing guitar seriously at the age of 12 and have been a guitar teacher for 22 years. My first influences were rock and metal. In my later teens, I became very interested in other music genres such as jazz, fusion and classical. I began my formal music education as a Classical Guitar performance major, ultimately obtaining a Masters Degree in Music Composition from the Queens College Aaron Copland School of Music.

The road I have taken with music has been paved with many unexpected twists and turns. Throughout my many years of learning and making new discoveries, I have now arrived at a point where I am able to productively incorporate knowledge from various experiences with music and education into my own creativity and teaching. I never expect to stop learning or exploring ...

I was a student of Marco's for about two-almost three years, and his excitement, love, desire, wisdom and passion for music and teaching is something that can't be described in words. Marco is a teacher that likes to have fun with whatever it is he may be teaching, but he is also very serious about it to make sure his students learn what they want in the best way possible to them. He will encourage his students if they need it and congratulate you every time you complete whatever it is you may have learned from him. I mostly learned techniques/songs from artist's such as Randy Rhoads, Angus Young, and much more from Marco. He will not let you down. He won't give up on you. I would gladly learn from him any time /any chance I'd get.

Marco has been teaching my son how to play the guitar since 2008. I feel that we were blessed having Marco as my son's first teacher. He really understood him and I was brought to tears at his very first recital when I was amazed how much he had learned in just a short few months. He is a senior in HS now and he has a love for the guitar and a passion to learn new music on his own.
Marco is an exceptional teacher who is very patient and understands his students and listens to their needs. He is extremely talented and anyone would be very lucky to have him as their music instructor. I recommend him highly. He is the best!

I studied with Marco in my senior year of high school. I had been playing for about a year at the time. Marco was very encouraging and informative. He was always willing to go the extra mile - whether that meant lending me a book, helping me record for an audition in his home studio, or just giving me an extra 15 minutes of his time. We spent most of our time learning solos from the masters, discussing the fundamentals of music theory, and playing together. When I left for college I had a great foundation to build on. His diverse background makes him a great resource! Thanks Marco!!!

Renaud is a Great Instructor!

My son, Liam, eally enjoys his drum lessons with Renaud. He comes home excited about what he has learned and goes straight to his drums to show us. Renaud is teaching him the fundamentals, as well as challenging him with new rhythms. Liam's ability to read and write music has improved, as well as his speed. We are very pleased.

Jessica T. Astoria, NY

About Jessica

Hi there! My name is Jessy and I would love to be your voice and music teacher! I have been singing and performing since I was basically old enough to talk, and in my travels I have learned and achieved some really great things that make me an excellent and fun teacher with whom you will enjoy singing and learning.

I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance from Westminster College of the Arts (Westminster Choir College) from which I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2007. While in school I studied the classical "bel canto" technique (literally meaning "beautiful singing"), and was able to learn from some of the best teachers, coaches, and conductors in the world. So classical singing obviously plays an important part in my teaching because it helps build ...

Great voice teacher!

Jessy is a wonderful voice teacher! She is fun and passionate and really cares for her students. In just a few months I have made incredible progress expanding my range and have learned how to mix and transition between head and chest voice! Jessy is always full of energy and excited to work on songs. She is open to student's song requests, but also provides suggestions for pieces to work on. I highly recommend her! :)
