About Me

Hello. My name is Jennifer G. with "Music by Jennifer". I have had the pleasure of teaching Piano/Voice for 28 years in California as well as Arizona. As a veteran Musical Theatre performer, I have also been hired as Musical Director at Chandler Children's Theatre as well as Board member. With this experience I bring enthusiasm and love for music to each student. My missin is in bringing the individual to the realization of self confidence, self discovery, and to an emotionally satisfying experience through the world of music.
I have 4 years of formal education in music and 28 years of applied experience in teaching, performing, choir directing, Talent promoting, Musical directing, and much more.

About Me

My name is Lou and I have been playing guitar since the age of 14. Although, I not a clubbing musician, I had my fun playing original music in Colorado Springs, Colorado in a band called "Theory". While at the same time I was managing Colorado's largest music store retailers'. Quite often, I have been the one behind the scenes either teaching, recording, engineering, or running live sound.
I started teaching when I was 18 years old, it just seemed I had an ability to make sense out the guitar. I understand after years of teaching what motivates and helps students get to their goals. My experience has made balancing the repertoire of challenging material with realistic outcome, a high priority. Students making progress while having fun is the ultimate goal!

About Me

I grew up with music surrounding me. Both my parents play many instruments and they have passed that love on to me and my brothers. I started singing as a toddler and piano and flute came soon after. I love to teach, am patient and help my students to achieve their best. I create an environment for my students to feel safe expressing themselves, making mistakes,laughing and honing their musical language.

In my voice lessons I teach solid technique focusing on bringing out the beauty of each individual's voice giving them the tools to be able to sing musically.I've been told by students that they have learned more from me in 2 lessons then they have working with prior teachers for years.

I earned my BM in Vocal Performance from the distinguished Eastman School of Music.I have earned the Bravo!Scholar and Howard Hanson award as well as first place in the Schubert Club vocal competition. I continue my studies with acclaimed Mezzo-soprano Gail Dubinbaum in Phoenix.

Travis is a music educator that enjoys teaching and performing. He has a lot of patience and feels proud that all of his students can say they have excelled at their instrument throughout the duration of his instruction. With much experience teaching students of all ages,needs and skill levels he focuses specifically on the most important skills and concepts a student needs to be able to play proficiently and musically. This is accomplished through the use of proper technique and providing clear information of the fundamentals.

Travis has been involved in numerous playing situations throughout his schooled training. Studying under great industry professionals has helped him to be well versed in all styles of music and make him a well rounded player and an exceptional teacher. About Me

Hello,

I am a cool musician with a passion for teaching. I grew up singing, and learned much of what I know from being surrounded by excellent musicians. That real life hands on training has helped me a great deal now that I am a Music Education Major.

When I am working with students I like to work with them on a personal, one on one level. I take the time to get to know their needs as an individual artist, and what their goals are, so that I can design a program that works best for them.

As a musician and a teacher the greatest thing for me, is when I see progress in my students. I love to see them transform from just singers into true performers and artist.

I am most comfortable teaching genres of: pop, r&b, soul, acoustic, indie, hip-hop, country, classical, and music theatre.

I genuinely LOVE all types of music, and always keep an open mind to new things!

About Me

I teach music. The guitar just happens to be the particular instrument I choose. Music as a language, discipline, and art, is the goal. I've been teaching, performing, studying, composing, for some thirty years. I've studied and gigged in the classical, jazz, rock, blues, and country idioms. I've taught composition and improvisation to instruments other than guitar, (vocalists, fiddle, sax, piano, trumpet) I've taught all ages and levels. I currently pursue a doctorate of music in guitar at university. Students learn many things when studying with me. They learn physically how to play a particular instrument while learning music as its own language. Students learn how to learn, learn self-discipline, and access their musical expression, all life changing experiences.

About Me

Teaching drums for over 13 years, Aaron has influenced hundreds of budding musicians to get the most from their instrument. He has studied privately with Rob Laytham (Modern Drummer columnist), Joe Leroux (marching guru), Gary Chaffe (legendary drummer) and many others throughout the years. He has taken the best techniques and teaching styles from his influences and molded them together to form what he considers to be the most effective and inspiring method available.

I teach drum set in nearly every style and hybrid imaginable, as well as percussion and drum circle facilitation.

Accomplishments include recording 7 albums with various groups, touring with national acts across the west coast, drumming for the Warner Brothers Television house band, and playing countless live shows (152 shows in 2007 alone).

About Me

I started playing music by taking group piano lessons through a Yamaha music school when I was about 7 years old. I started playing drums when I was 11 and guitar at 13. By the time I was in high school, I was involved playing all different types of percussion in the marching band, jazz band, and steel drum band, in addition to developing an interested in music recording and production. This was also the time when I started to teach drum lessons. Since then, I have played in multiple bands in venues all over Phoenix. I have worked on production for albums and videos for many different bands. I have also completed an Interdisciplinary Degree in Arts and Music at ASU.

I have a multi-faceted background that can benefit students in many ways. She studied for three years at the School of Music, University of Colorado, Boulder.
