About Me
I began my music education in 1993 with private piano lessons. A year later, I joined the instrumental program in my community playing the clarinet and by 8th grade I had fully realized my passion for music and have been playing and singing ever since! In 2002 I was accepted to the prestigious Berklee College of Music for classical piano which culminated into a Bachelors degree in Music Education. My professional career started when I accepted a position to provide private music lessons to home schooled children all across CT. During that time I taught everything from piano and voice to alto saxophone and baritone horn. My next career move brought her to the public schools in urban Bridgeport, CT. During my time in Bridgeport, I developed a successful music program in a new school. After only one year, I was chosen to have my students collaborate with the Yale School of Music and Greater Bridgeport Symphony in the Music and Book Writing program. The students not only...
