Amber is a great Violin/Viola teacher and has been very knowledgeable and helpful! Amber hones in on where a student needs improvement in their playing and explains in a way that's easy to understand how to improve. Lessons are always fun and you can tell Amber enjoys teaching!

I've played brass instruments throughout High School and decided to attempt to teach myself the Violin after I graduated College. After almost a year of struggling I started to take lessons with Amber and she quickly helped me improved my form and technique with my left and right hand, obtain proper equipment, and provide exercises on what to practice to continue improving. I have noticed a drastic improvement since I started taking lessons with Amber and I highly recommend her as your Violin or Viola teacher!

When I turned 8 years old, I began piano lessons. I started violin
at 9 and trombone at 10. I am now proficient on the guitar, bass, and piano. Having completed my tour of duty in the U.S. Army, I am currently on the Dean'€™s list as a music/audio production major, and plan to continue my music education until I earn at least a masters in performance and composition. I am a member of the Grammy U Recording Academy, and have had opportunities to work with a lot of different musicians. (The Recording Academy is the organization that ...

Very Good Teacher

I took bass lessons with Jon last year, and it was truly a phenomenal experience! Jon worked with me on my level and really broke down music theory in a clear manner. He also was able to pinpoint the areas I needed the most work in, and then developed drills for me to use at home between lessons. His teaching style helped me develop from a below average bass player to a proficient level…in less than 6 months! I highly recommend Jon no matter your experience level.

My daughter was taught by Sharon for 2 month's.I felt the lessons were too strict and too rigid. We were then referred from a friend of a wonderful teacher. What a difference!

A Sharp Music School was the right choice!

Helped me step up my playing

I had been teaching myself piano for many years when I reached a point where I was not improving and realized I needed a teacher. Sharon helped me work on my weaknesses as a musician and had a good eye for pieces that helped me build on my strengths. We always had fun working together, and she was always good about working around my busy schedule.

Sharon is doing a great job, she is well organized and knows what she's doing. I am pleased that she gives my daughter concrete feedbck and lessons to practice at home. The only problem is my daughter could use a little more practice time with her.

So happy we found Dena!

My 9 yr old daughter loves her singing lessons with Dena! She loves to sing so much, I thought it would be a good idea to have her get lessons. She was nervous at first, but she really enjoys the lessons, and she's definitely improved under Dena's direction. Dena is warm and friendly, and yet professional at the same time. We're very pleased, and I would recommend her to anyone!

Corbin is a fantastic teacher who instructs you how to safely build your singing voice from the ground up. He starts with the basics and tells you why on every vocal exercise what he is trying to do and how it will make you a better singer. My greatest lesson from him was how to project the power in my voice without straining my vocal chords. He has great knowledge of music theory and the practical experience from a lifetime of performances in front of an audience to help you in whatever you are trying to do in the entertainment field. Or if you just want to keep it simple and become a better singer for your local choir Corbin can make you stand out from the rest of the group. If you really want to learn the correct way to sing and have fun doing it than book a session with him.
