About Me
Hi- my name is Dylan. I've been passionate about music and teaching my whole life. I even tried teaching my little sister violin when she was 7 and I was 9. But in actual lessons I have taught piano, organ, music theory, improvisation (and even harpsichord!) to private students. I am comfortable teaching a wide variety of musical styles and a wide range of experience in students, but have been most useful to motivated students interested in classical music and improvisation.
As a musician: I'm classically trained, with a Bachelor's degree in keyboard performance from McGill University and am currently studying for my Master's in the same thing at Boston University. I have won the Concours de Musique de Canada chamber music competition 2009 with Ensemble la Félicité, and have a special love for improvisation and classical music.

Jonah R, Jonah R's Review
Very patient and good teacher. Takes the time to explain both concepts and techniques. Has worked constantly to break down various barriers that I have learning piano completely. He is very proficient at piano and an excellent teacher.
