About Me
Gregg has been involved in music for almost his entire life. He began with the saxophone in middle school, where he took lessons and played in the school band, orchestra, and jazz band. He was interested in many other instruments at the time; piano and clarinet lessons shortly followed, but he did not develop his skills on guitar until much later. In seventh and eighth grade, Gregg was accepted into the Region II Intermediate Band, an intercollegiate ensemble for middle school students, where he performed tenor saxophone both years.
In high school, Gregg participated in the freshman Concert Band (tenor sax), Symphonic Band (tenor sax sophomore year, bassoon senior year), Wind Ensemble (tenor sax junior and senior years), and the Marching Band (tenor sax freshman and junior years, baritone sax sophomore year). He also took the music theory courses offered at the time, with prefect grades in both of them.
