Jordan is a guitarist, saxophonist, composer and music teacher/scholar from Portland, Maine. He is interested in most every form of musical expression but specializes in rock, jazz, extreme metal and modern "classical". He holds his Bachelor of Arts in Music (saxophone and composition) from the University of Southern Maine as well as his Associate of Science in Jazz and Contemporary Music from the University of Maine at Augusta (guitar).

He began his musical endeavors at the age of 10 when he received his first alto saxophone. Since then he has gone on to study with notable saxophonists David Wells and Tim O'Dell, winning the “Louis Armstrong Jazz Award” for excellence in jazz performance during his studies.

Jordan began playing guitar at age 12 and has studied with Pat Keane and Bob Thompson. With his band Falls of Rauros, he has performed on recordings that are currently selling all over the United States, Canada, Germany, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, and France....

My love for the piano started at a very young age, I was 5y when I had my first lesson and even though my mom thought my hands were too small to play piano, it didn't take me long to prove her wrong. I was classically trained through college, but the lessons you will receive from me are created specifically for you. Maybe you love Beethoven, or maybe you would rather play the Beetles. Perhaps Lady Gaga is your style, or Jazz is a favorite of yours. With your goals in mind, I create lessons that you will love to learn. As I continue to deepen my understanding of sonic expression, I will take you on a musical journey you might never forget.

Robert's exemplary and diverse career all began when he was a very small boy. His magical, musical journey began with his Grandfather, Donald Mcullick, a country singer/guitarist, who spent the 1950's touring and performing with blockbuster artists such as Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison. Grandpa would take his young protégé out to the swing under the apple tree in the backyard and show him songs on an old acoustic guitar. He would later give that guitar to Robert. That guitar was the key to the music box of Robert's life. A life long dedicated to the art and craft of music.

Robert's high school years were very non-traditional. While most students spent time at football games and pep rallies, Robert spent his time performing in pit orchestras and composing for local theater companies. His extensive theater credits include work with the Hampton Playhouse, the Portsmouth Academy of Performing Arts, the Seacoast Reparatory Company and the Portland Stage Company. Robert...

Music is my passion. I will do my best to teach what I do best. Most of all, I am a people person. I am gifted with the ability to quickly evaluate a student's level of comprehension so I can appropriately deliver the knowledge to each individual. I have been involved with music my entire life. I have collaborated and performed with many household names in the industry that you may have listened to! Although I am networking quickly in the industry, I treat each lesson with patience and professionalism. I also offer the option of giving each student the opportunity to create their very own demo recording to show family and friends.
