I am a seven year veteran private teacher. I have taught lessons in Voice, Piano, Flute, Clarinet, saxophone and beginner trumpet. I am new to the Boston area and I’m eager to teach! I have a Bachelor in Music Education from Five Towns College in New York.
I’m an easy going teacher; I like to focus on the students’ progress without putting pressure on them. I have various methods I like to use with different instruments but I also like to take into account on what the student’s ability is and what the student prefers as a choice of music. Students will benefit from my method of teaching while having fun as well.

Sharon knew at a very young age that the arts were her life and doesn't remember a time when she wasn't singing, dancing and acting. She began her professional career at the age of seven years old and has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and numerous New York nightclubs. Sharon grew up in Brooklyn, NY and has trained with some of New York City's premier voice, acting and music teachers. She just recently moved to the Boston area.

I have taught piano and voice most of my adult life. Early on I learned the need to adapt my teaching style to the uniqueness of each student, especially those whose perceptions differ widely from the general populace. I love what I do, helping each student discover and nurture their abilities, no matter what age the student may be.

The Holistic Piano method is especially effective with my Autism-spectrum students, a segment of the population I find particularly rewarding to teach.

George has been playing guitar and bass since 1994, teaching since 1999. He has been playing the drums and piano since 2000 and has been teaching since 2005. He is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. He also has a Masters in Music from the illustrious Duquesne University. He has played and recorded on numerous recording sessions, has played and recorded internationally and maintains a steady pulse in the local music scene. George is also a professional recording engineer, so while not in a lesson he is usually recording, editing or mixing for other clients.

Though he is only 24, Bob J has been playing drums professionally for close to a decade. He has a B.M. from the New England Conservatory and a M.M. from McGill University in jazz performance. Valued for his versatility and strong sense of groove, he is quickly becoming one of the most in-demand sideman in the greater Boston area. His growing reputation in the Northeast has lead to performances with jazz legends such as Lee Kontiz and Dave Holland, as well as an international tour with a big band featuring George Garzone and Lenny Pickett. He also has a strong connection with the piano and writes music for various musical projects. He is currently a member of the house band at the Art Bar in Cambridge and leads his own group in NYC, Boston, and Montreal.

I've been playing the guitar for twenty-six years now, and I've been working as a guitar teacher for the last twenty years. I've been making a living as a guitar teacher in the Boston area for fourteen years now, and I teach in two locations - Brighton and Dedham. Prior to that I also taught at Guitar Attention Center in Springfield, Ohio while I was in college, where I graduated with honors at Wright State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications.
I've also played in a variety of original and cover bands, and have written a number of songs of my own. I'm working on recording these as instrumentals in my home studio.
I also play in a rock cover band called Element 78. We play out every weekend, and even on some Sundays. The singer and I have also started doing some acoustic shows on Sundays and Thursdays as well.

A student of Yumi Hwang-Williams, Sally O'Reilly, Joey Corpus, and Mark Lakirovich, Rachel holds a Diploma in violin from Denver School of the Arts, and was most recently a student at Longy School of Music in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has played under the direction of noted conductors David Zinman, Julius Rudel, and Michael Stern at the Aspen Music Festival, James DePriest at the Las Vegas Music Festival, and, most recently, Benjamin Zander of the Boston Philharmonic. She has performed by invitation at Music on the Rhine in Dusseldorf, Germany, Aspen Music Festival, Las Vegas Music Festival, and on tour with members of the Minnesota Orchestra and St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.

Currently, Rachel is a member of the Boston Philharmonic and the classical and traditional duo Driftwood. Teaching is something I'm truly passionate about! I've been teaching privately for over 10 years and most of the students I've had were complete newbies, although I have taught students of much more advanced skill levels. Whether they were 7 or 35, picking up the sticks for the first time, or had been playing for years, I always pride myself on creating a comfortable environment that encourages and enables every student to excel and develop a deep passion for music and the drums. But most of all, I want them to have fun!

Danilo is a multi-instrumentalist originally from Long Island, New York and currently based out of Boston. He has been involved in many successful projects along the east coast. Danilo is a current member of Full Tang and Debo Band. He has also been a member of internationally acclaimed Afrobeat group The Superpowers and had toured extensively playing percussion with indie-rock band Rubblebucket.

Danilo has studied classical trumpet performance at the New England Conservatory of Music with members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra as well as percussion and drums with other esteemed faculty members (Rakalam Bob Moses, Jamey Haddad). In addition to his conservatory training, Danilo has studied traditional West African drumming at the Dagbe Cultural Center in Kopeyia, Ghana.

While at the New England Conservatory, Vivek studied with both classical and jazz instructors, including former principal trumpet of the BSO, Charlie Schlueter and legendary jazz saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi. This education prepared Vivek for several professional performances, including recording and performing with 10-time GRAMMY winner Paquito D'Rivera, the DAX Bullfighting Festival (France), the International New Year's Festival (Taiwan), backing American Idol finalist John Stevens with the Beantown Swing Orchestra, performing at the International Trademark Convention, performing at the Caribbean Jazz Festival, entertaining the heads of Kodak Corporation, and many more.

Currently, Vivek is developing a curriculum demonstrating how to create quality recordings with free software and inexpensive recording equipment (e.g. Garageband, usb mics).

I was born in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia.
