Hi, my name is A Thai and I am thrilled to be a licensed Simply Music teacher. I've been playing piano for over 20 years, but like many others I studied piano the hard way - the traditional way. It was painful and slow. Although I consider myself an accomplished pianist now, it was not a pleasurable experience in the beginning.

For years others have asked me to teach piano. I kindly turned them down, not because I did not want to teach; it was that I didn't want them to go through the "growing pains" that I had gone through when I was a beginning student. Besides, I couldn't find a method good enough that would allow students to enjoy playing the piano from day one... until now.

Simply Music is a unique piano learning approach unlike any other. It breaks down the complexity of music into shapes, patterns, single thought processes and a whole host of other "tools" that is the methodology of Simply Music. Learning to play piano doesn't have to be hard and painful. In fact, it can be easy and fun with Simply Music from day one.

In contrast to traditional methods, which are "reading based" approaches, Simply Music is a “playing based" approach. You'll learn by immersing in the process of playing from your first lessons. As such you'll be able to play great sounding songs immediately in various musical styles: contemporary, classical, blues and jazz, accompaniment and arrangement.
