Dan has been playing and writing music since early in elementary school. After playing guitar in and with many bands during his high school and early college years, he began professionally producing and engineering music at the age of twenty, all the while continuing to write and record his own. With dozens of producing, engineering, mixing, and session musician credits to his name, he has now begun to focus a great degree of his time and energy on the world of composing music for Video Games, Film, and TV. He just finished composing original music for the upcoming Electronic Arts game "Skate It" for the Nintendo Wii, as well as another soon to be announced game. He is also an accomplished instructor, having taught guitar and recording arts to several students. With a great understanding of what it takes to be a successful musician, he will help you accomplish your goals quickly and methodically.
Lessons are tailored specifically to the individual students interests and goals. While the basics will be covered for all students, the focus will be heavily placed on what the they hope to accomplish and the styles of music that they are interested in. Students can expect a laid back, yet structured, environment, with an emphasis placed on having fun while learning. Great with kids and I enjoy teaching beginners!
