    I have been playing drums for 7 years. I first recieved lessons from a drum instructor Bradd Stine in Cotati, California. He taught me the importance of independence and many different genres such as rock, jazz, and funk. After 5 years of lessons with Mr. Stine, I began to receive lessons from world renowned studio drummer Pete Magadini as well as from Bradd Stine. With Pete Magadini I furthered my independence to a high advanced level and studied the aspects of jazz drumming. These lessons continued until I moved to San Antonio, Texas where  I began to get lessons from jazz drummer Darren Kuper. I studied mainly jazz with Mr. Kuper.

Currently I teach drums as well as play in various bands in San Antonio. I am currently in 4 different bands. My main project is a band called Sarah and Octopus, I also play with Marcus Rubio, ILL Prospekt, and Druggist. I am also a studio drummer and have done recordings for the bands above and also various other local artists in San Antonio. I have also performed with Grammy Winner Joe Reyes from Buttercup.

    During lessons I am a fairly easy going guy, I like to make lessons fun but at the same time I want you to work hard and to push yourself. The curriculum I teach is mostly up to you. I can share all the different aspects of drumming and let you decide what you want to focus on. For example, if you don't necessarily want to focus much rock playing but rather focus more on jazz, we will study more jazz drumming. I will also make recommendations of what you should learn and what will help you improve certain aspects of your drumming.

    After 6 months of lessons with me, you will have better timing, be able to play without being tense, more knowledgeable in rudiments, be able to read music, and have improved independence with your hands and feet.
