About Me

- 25 years playing experiance

- 10 years teaching experiance

- Began playing at age 6

-  In 2004 composed for national late night talk show

- Primary styles include classical based metal, rock, and country

- Have a catolog of over 200 original songs

- I understand that not everyone learns at the same pace

When I'm not instructing a student, I'm in the corner of my studio with headphones on and my axe pluged in or playing shows with my band Nedra.  The one thing that I feel sets me apart from the other instructors in my area is that I actually love to teach.  I can't explain the feeling I get when I see one of my students play that riff that they thought was impossable or the look in their eye when they finally "get it".  I take a differant approach on teaching.  I develope a lesson plan for each individule student acording to his or her skill level, interests, style, and goals. My students are my life and I will do whatever I have to do to see them succeed.

I try not to incorperate my style into the lessons, however, my primary style is classical based metal.  My influences include such artist as Randy Rhodes, Malmsteen, and Zakk.  I prefer to teach my students the theory, concepts, and strength building nessecery to develope their own style and to be an individule.
