I am a fun Jim Carrey type of teacher.  I am very in tune with every student.  I try to be stricter with those that need it, and less strict with those that are more self-motivated.  Each Student is Different. 

Clarinet Students I will start with a Clarinet Instruction Series depending on where the student is in the development process.  A Global Exercise Technique book will be introduced for improvement of tonguing dexterity, speed of play, and coordination between finger movement and tonguing technique.  We will also work on the Orchestra/Band Music that the student is doing in school as well.

Vocal Students will learn Vocal Control, Proper Vocal Technique, Posture,

                          Inner Voice Mental Posturing, Proper Conditioning of Body for Voice,

                          Vocal Flexibility, Increased Vocal Range.

                          Traditional/Modern Vocal Exercises will be taught.

                          Student will learn to sing in All Styles.

                          Student will also work specifically on their Style of Choice.

Guitar Students will be learning various Scales, Modes, Finger Style, Pick Style,

                                Tuning, Chord Progressions, Singing/Playing Together,

                                using Classic Rock Songs to begin with and using Songs

                                that the Student is interested in learning mostly.  After all

                                it is the individual performer who wants to express themself

                                through a certain style, and I promote all good Motivational

                                Energy in All My Students.
