I am a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a B.M. in Flute Performance.  I was a student of Christina Smith, principal flutist of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and student of Melanie Fuller, formally with the Atlanta Chamber Players.  While at KSU, I sat principal flutist of the Kennesaw State Orchestra and was member of Wind Ensemble.

Starting my education at Georgia State University, I studied with Paul Brittan of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and performed with the Charoma Flute Quartet, Wind Ensemble and Orchestra.

I have been a private music instructor in the metro-Atlanta area since 2001.  I have been employed by Draisen Edwards-New School of Music 2004-2005 and by Sadler Music 2002-2005.  Currently, I teach more than 30 students at my home studio, school studio or the students’ home.  I teach both flute and piano.

As an instructor, I will encourage you to be the best musician you want to be.  I will encourage the talent that you have to blossom.  Each student has his or her own goals.  I will listen and understand these goals and help them become attainable.  No two students are alike. 

I am classically trained. I teach a variety of piano methods depending on the student. I teach the Rubank method for the flute as well as scales, etudes, and solos.
