Dear Music lovers I'm the instructor for you.

Background: I recently graduated with an honors degree in music from Florida Atlantic University. I began taking piano lessons at the age of five. My main area of study at the University was piano and classical composition. I have taught children music lessons for seven years. I love sharing the gift of music with my students.

What to expect from me: I am diligent,diciplined, and a hard working instructor that expects nothing but the best from her students. I will drive to your home. I will be on time. I will treat my students with care and respect. I will teach students the PROPER technique in playing the piano. Many music teachers give their students the wrong technique, which results in poor performance and hand injury! My students will never have that problem.

What I Offer: I will teach my students how to play the piano. I will teach all willing students music theory and history. As well as classical composition for the beginner, I offer ear training.
Listening and developing your ears is a very important part of music training, which is often neglected by music teachers.

Every one of my students learns differently. Therefore, I cater to my pupil’s needs and the way they learn. My students can expect to develop a true love and appreciation of music and acquire discipline. I love to have fun with my students.

There is never a dull moment in my lessons. The composers and artists we study have rich and interesting lives which my students enjoy learning about.  Music is a gift that will last  my students a lifetime. I offer insight into the world of classical music  and art. My students discover the power of sound and beauty that comes from their very own finger tips. Bottom line, I love what I teach and I adore my students.

I customize lessons per child, not everyone learns in the same way. I like to spend the first half of the lesson on piano technique and performance, theory and the second half of the lesson I teach my students about composers and develop their listening skills. That would be in a hour lesson. I want my students to be inspired and well rounded.
