TakeLessons Teaching Requirements

We require all of our teachers to meet the following requirements in order to be considered for a position within our company.

• Have a commitment to students' progress and success throughout their lesson journey
• Possess a bachelor's degree in a music field or equivalent experience
• Have the ability to instruct students of all ages and experience levels
• Have at least one year music or voice teaching experience
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Submit to and pass a criminal background check; must not have any convictions for a crime other than minor traffic violations
• Be at least 18 years old
