About Me
Inspired by Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora, Amy began to play the guitar at age 9. She has studied rock, folk, and classical styles. She has been focusing on classical music for the last ten years and she is currently earning her Master's degree in Guitar Performance. She performs with the Fullerton Guitar Orchestra, which tours the California Coast, and a Guitar Trio that performs at local events.
Lesson Details
Lessons are tailored to the students' interest. Students generally learn chords, basic rhythms, music theory, standard notation, and tab. We work toward building a large repertoire of songs based on the genres that interest the students, including classical, flamenco, rock, blues, country, and folk. Student recitals are held annually and are included with the lessons.
