My name is Monica. I have been teaching for nine years and have been playing music (piano and guitar) since the age of six. I recieved my Bachelor of Arts degree in music from the University of Redlands and am currently pursuing my Master's degree in classical guitar performance at Cal State Fullerton. I also perform solo material and perform with my guitar trio, Tangondo Guitar Trio in the L.A. and Orange County areas. I teach a variety of styles; classical, rock, pop and Latin.

I provide all my students with a basic knowledge of technique, sight reading skills and an understanding of different styles and how they are played on the guitar. I want all my students to have fun playing, so I encourage them to make suggestions about material that we can cover during the lesson.

I specialize in classical guitar and classical piano. I also teach and play electric guitar and have a lot of experience playing rock.
