About Me

"Music is an important essence of life! Whether you believe it or not everyone loves music. The world is full of music from the birds singing in the trees, to the wind blowing on a sunny day, or to your favorite song tune whether it be a ringtone or music from your radio. I decided at the age 9 to get a better understanding of  beats and rhythms and by my junior year of high school, thinking about my future, what better else thing to study and make a living off of than MUSIC!"

I am an all around exciting type person. I love to sing, dance, play the keyboard, think positive, write touching music, meet fun people, and live life to the fullest. I have long and short-term goals My short-term goals consist of graduating (pretty soon!!!) from Georgia State University, helping my younger relatives make positive decisons on college or life in general, and just write as much music as possible. My long-term goals consist of becoming a Performing artist, Opening up my own music studio, giving to the community by allowing free piano lessons, and also becoming a mentor to young teens to make wise decisions.

Lesson Details

What students can expect from the lesson is"learning".

I am a very relaxed, fun, and motivated teacher. I teach everything from classical to gospel to jazz to pop music. One thing you will find out from my lessons are you are "learning" rather than "memorizing". I rather ask you what you want out of the lesson rather it be to learn different styles or just being able to be fluent in reading as well as "playing by ear". I will put my all into the lesson to the last minute or maybe run a minute over but at the end I know I've done my job!

  • I like to make it fun, so I encourage students to bring in music they would like to learn even if I have to simplify it a bit!
  • I also try to teach different tricks to learn the theory.

Call today... You will be glad you did!

"Trey really enjoyed his first lesson! He was so excited when he got home he went straight to the keyboard. By him learning the formalities of music, I think he will gain a deeper appreciation for music as he progresses. I will begin searching for the books today and hopefully he will have them by his next lesson. Thanks for being patient and a having such a positive attitude. Have a peaceful and abundantly blessed Thursday. "
