Expertise and sensitivity
Those are the two qualities Michael brings to his teaching... in large amounts! His understanding of the voice and the whole biological process of singing is considerable. And he is able to communicate his expertise to his students so well because of his great sensitivity; he sees and hears keenly and can, laser-like, hone in on what is needed to solve problems and promote growth.
