I graduated from Clark Atlanta University With a bachelor's in Trumpet Performance and Music Education.  I am classically trained and play jazz. 

I currently work for Atlanta Public Schools as a music educator.

I have studied trumpet with former principal trumpeter of the Atlanta Symphony orchestra, John Head. 

I've given private lessons on all the brass instruments, saxophone, clarinet, and piano for three years at local middle and high schools.

I have performed with many different show bands, churches, and local clubs and restuarants

Students can expect a stress-free and friendly learning process.  After learing basic rhythms, breathing techniques and basic musical symbols, students will continue on with fingerings and techniques on their instrument.  Students will then have the opportunity to perform songs with instrumental accompaniment after learning the basic concepts.

I specialize in jazz. I use the Standard of Excellence Method for brass instruments. I also teach correct breathing techniques initially before the other elements of music can be applied. For Piano I use the Thompson Method along with Improvisation to allow the student to express their own creativity
