I'm from Korea and living in America now.

I specialized in linguistics and cultural studies at university.
I've been teaching private lessons since 2012. 

The way that I learned English was mostly self-taught.

I offer Korean courses for beginners with no prior experience, all the way to advanced learners looking to perfect their skills.

You can also learn about the culture and people. 
Every week, I like to introduce a fun concept that has to do with Korean culture.
Things like the history of Hanbok, Kimchi, Korean flags, etc.

If you’d like, I can utilize Korean songs, movies, and shows, so that our classes will be enjoyable!

I provide lessons on Hangul, vocabulary, conversation, writing, reading, and pronunciation.

Jin is truly so wonderful. I enjoy practicing Korean with her. She finds great ways for me to remember what I learn. She makes sure we review so I don't forget. She's helping me with my goal of making sentences. Please book her class. It's so worth it, you won't regret. She also makes sure we learn some cultural facts about Korea. Some teachers teach, but don't allow the student to practice, she allows me to practice and allows me to find the answers myself, which I find really helpful for real life conversation situations. I am beyond thankful I get to have a daily lesson with Jin. :)
